About Sunday Salon Chicago

Sunday Salon is a monthly prose reading series that originated in New York City in 2002 and has been bringing together an inspiring "blend of new and established literary voices" ever since. Founded by Nita Noveno & Caroline Berger, graduates of The New School's MFA in Creative Writing Program, the series began at a bar in Morningside Heights, Manhattan, and has since found its new home at Stain Bar in Brooklyn. Having provided a successful platform for writers in New York for the past four years, Sunday Salon is now branching out to the midwest!

Melanie Pappadis, a fellow graduate of The New School's MFA program brings Sunday Salon to Chicago to provide yet another space for new and established literary voices. Co-hosted by Mike Zapata, co-founder/publisher/fiction editor of Make: A Chicago Literary Magazine.
